STRODE CRESCENT BAPTIST CHURCH

Mission:

Strode Crescent Baptist Church sits right in the middle of Sheerness and its aim to meet the needs of the community by offering the modern building and staff (paid and voluntary) to serve people and organisations.

Facilities:

The facilities include everything from modern baby changing room, lift to upper floor, data projection in large meeting rooms complete with WiFi and Ethernet for business users and trainers.

Short History:

Strode Crescent Baptist Church has had a vivid and striking history. C.H. Spurgeon opened the ‘church’ in a public house in Bluetown, Sheerness. Eventually a Baptist Church was sited on the corner of Winstanley Road, Sheerness. On the 18th April 1998 a new building was opened on the site of the old church. In September 2009 work finally started on the upper floor which is now our worship centre enabling the ground floor (and much of the upper floor) to be used in ways which benefit the whole community.
