East Kumi Baptist Church
Rev’d Peter Tongeman, during his Presidency of the Baptist Union, launched a scheme to provide bicycles for Ugandan pastors.
In 1989 a visit was arranged for members of North Downs and the Kent Associations to send a Team to Teso Region (N.E. Uganda). This Team included Rev’d Ralph and Jane Hanger, Rev’d Bob and Mary Archer, and Reg and Christine Hughes. These photo’s show the work that we, at Strode support in East Kumi in the Teso Region.
